Whole Griffon socks team woke up to the sound of explosions on the 24th of February. Russian army shelled their hometown Kharkiv. Therefore the main task for the next days was to stay alive. Most of the team members spent first days in the basement. Manufacturing, in which their socks were made, was located in Rubizhne town. And it was completely destroyed due to the shelling (see the photos). Manager of the business, Tetiana, lost her flat that was located in the Saltivka area of Kharkiv.
Currently most team members, including the founders, fled Kharkiv due to continuous missile attacks.
Griffon socks are happy to send their products worldwide. The team would be super grateful for every order. 30% of their profits go to Ukrainian charities. Moreover, they are currently developing a new collection of socks in collaboration with Ukrainian artists. This will be a part of social project aimed at creating rehabilitation centres for those who suffered from war.
